Mandela Day: Jars of Hope
50 jars. 200 meals. One community.
Our hands came together this Mandela Day to pack and distribute 50 nutritious, beautifully layered Jars of Hope for vulnerable households across the Phesantekraal community.

Each individual glass jar is carefully packed with dry soup mix, lentils, rice, split peas, and a savory stock cube. By simply adding boiling water, a local family of four can enjoy a dense, wholesome, and warming winter meal. Through this targeted collective effort, our team successfully delivered 200 critical meals to families in need.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the team at Carl Greaves Brokers, who generously stepped up to sponsor 20 of these Jars of Hope for our Mandela Day drive. Their practical contribution allowed us to place immediate winter relief straight into 20 local homes, ensuring that the spirit of active citizenship and community care continues to thrive in Phesantekraal.

The true heart of this initiative comes alive in the moments of connection on the ground. Below, we have captured the gratitude of the Phesantekraal community members as they received their Jars of Hope. These images stand as a beautiful testament to what can be achieved when local businesses and community hands combine to deliver dignity and care.
